A Castle for the People
Artists, performers and community groups unite for PVDFest grand finale at the Cranston Street Armory
Part of inspiration behind PVDFest is to activate Providence’s public spaces and neighborhoods – and that means all neighborhoods. That’s why after the biggest party of the year happens Downtown on Saturday, June 3, the festival will head west on Sunday, June 4 for a finale party of salsa music, food AND art trucks, and a large-scale pop-up parade / performance led by FirstWorks featured artist Daniel Bernard Roumain. We can’t think of a better way to close out the best weekend of the summer so round up your family, friends (and a blanket or lawn chair) — but first get a preview of the day’s events on the PVDFest blog.
