In Providence, we are #AllIn for education and we’re inviting you to be a part of the future of Providence Public Schools. Recently, we announced a commitment to investing up to $400 million in school buildings over the next 10 years and launched a yearlong visioning process to hear from you—our students, parents, educators, community members and residents.
Phase 1 will include two identical Workshop Sessions on October 10th and October 12th that will focus on creating a shared vision for what we want our learning spaces to be. Together, we’ll build on the ideas discussed at the All In: Providence Education Summit, to make sure your experiences and creative solutions are included in this critical conversation about our school facilities.
After the workshops, Phase 2 of community engagement will include a Citywide Community Feedback Session on October 17th to allow the design team to present information gathered in the Workshop Sessions and to hear further feedback on these ideas and priorities for Providence Schools.
Attending one (1) Workshop before the Citywide Community Feedback Session is recommended.
Spanish-language interpretation, refreshments, and childcare will be provided during all gatherings. If you have any questions, please contact us at AllIn@providenceri.gov.
