Have you ever wanted to learn how to play chess but can’t find anyone to teach you? Or do you absolutely love chess and want to play against a worthy opponent? Well come to the Washington Park Library on a Thursday night! Every Thursday evening from 6:30pm to 8pm, our local chess instructor Sam will teach you how to play chess and/ or engage you in a thrilling game with other avid chess players. Recommended for ages 8 and up. All experience levels welcome, and chess boards and pieces are provided.
