2017 SUMMER EMPLOYMENT APPLICATION


This is the online application for the 2017 City of Providence Summer Employment Program

  1. All summer employment candidates MUST apply online to be considered for a position. No paper applications will be accepted.
  2. You must be at least 14 years old as of June 15, 2017 to qualify for employment.
  3. The deadline for applications is midnight, May 3, 2017. NO LATE APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
  4. Preference in hiring will be given to qualified residents of the City of Providence.
  5. All positions will be filled without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, gender, age, veteran status, disability or sexual orientation.
  6. Selected applications will be contacted via email only. Please note that you must have a personal email address that you check often for updates. If you need help setting up or accessing your email, the City of Providence Recreation Staff is available to assist you.
  7. If offered a position, the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 requires you to furnish proof of your employment eligibility and your identity. Proof of identity will require two forms of identification which must be presented before your first day of employment. Applicants selected for employment will receive step-by-step instructions and important dates upon notification of acceptance via email.
